Reshma Soundharrajan
Reshma is a sophomore, Biology major on the Pre-Med track here at UTD! She started the ÉKAM UTD chapter because she yearns to ameliorate the lives of children and mothers by facilitating access to quality healthcare resources. Some of her hobbies include making greeting cards, traveling, and painting!
Charukesi Sivakumar
Charu is a Sophomore, Biochemistry Major, hoping to pursue research! She decided to be a part of the UTD ÉKAM chapter in order to have an impact on the lives of both women and children in India by helping provide fundamental healthcare services. Some of her hobbies include calligraphy (or anything art), photography, playing the violin and singing!
Christy Chang
Christy is a sophomore, Biology Major here at UTD! She joined ÉKAM UTD because she wanted an opportunity to volunteer more and help the community. She hopes that through this organization, she can learn more about cultures other than her own. Her biggest hobby is drawing but she also loves watching movies and knitting!
Ananya Desai
Ananya is a sophomore, Biochemistry Major and part of the Honors College here at UTD! Ananya believes that ÉKAM is such an inspiring organization and she feels honored to represent ÉKAM with such a dedicated group of women. When she isn’t aspiring to get into medical school, she sings with the Dallas Symphony Chorus and learns Indian Classical dance!
Devi Veerappan
Devi is a sophomore, Biochemistry Major on the Pre-Med track here at UTD! Devi wanted to be a part of ÉKAM UTD because she believes she can make a positive contribution to the community and make an impact on changing lives through ÉKAM. Some of her hobbies include photography, playing the violin/piano, dancing, and listening to music!
Anjali Pillai
Anjali is a sophomore, Biochemistry Major here at UTD! She joined ÉKAM so that she could have more volunteer opportunities and play a part in helping the mothers and children in India. Her hobbies are listening to music, drawing, and traveling!
